Industrial Additive Manufacturing
Industrial 3D Printing Services
RapidPrintParts is an industrial 3D printing manufacturer based in Shenzhen, China. We focus on utilizing additive manufacturing to produce functional industrial parts that are built to be used. By evaluating actual operating requirements—including material, load, temperature, tolerance, finish, and quantity—we bridge the gap between engineering validation and low-volume production.
Core Industrial 3D Printing Processes
We operate a dedicated facility equipped with multiple polymer and resin additive manufacturing technologies. Before recommending a process, our engineering team reviews your specific application to determine the most effective manufacturing method.
Guaranteed tolerance for any process requires engineering review.

Best-Fit Industrial Applications
Industrial 3D printing is highly effective for complex or low-volume parts that are slow or uneconomical to produce with traditional manufacturing methods. Our production capabilities support several key industrial applications:
Machinery and Automation
Jigs, fixtures, machine guards, custom ducts, and specialized brackets.
Robotics and Integrators
End-of-arm tooling (EOAT), grippers, sensor brackets, and assembly aids for line upgrades.
Industrial Hardware
Functional prototypes for EVT/DVT/PVT validation, mechanical housings, and bridge-production components prior to tooling.
MRO and Spare Parts
Urgent low-quantity replacements for obsolete components to minimize downtime.
Material Options for Demanding Environments
Selecting the right material is critical for functional parts. Depending on your load, temperature, chemical, flame, or ESD requirements, RapidPrintParts offers a wide range of industrial polymers and engineering resins:
Standard Thermoplastics
ABS, ASA, PC, PETG, and TPU for versatile mechanical applications and flexible components.
Nylons and Composites
PA6, PA11, PA12, PA-CF (Carbon Fiber reinforced), and PA-GF (Glass Fiber reinforced) for high strength, stiffness, and durability.
High-Performance Polymers
PEEK, PEKK, and PEI/ULTEM for demanding thermal and chemical operating environments.
Engineering Resins
Specialized formulations for precise, smooth-surface prototyping via SLA.
Design Inputs and Selection Factors
To ensure your parts meet operational expectations, we conduct a thorough discovery process. Simple, very-high-volume parts may be better suited to molding or stamping; however, for custom, complex, or low-volume needs, 3D printing offers significant advantages.
When requesting a review, please provide the following inputs:
-
1
Application
The end-use and specific operating environment.
-
2
Files
A STEP/STP CAD file, accompanied by a 2D drawing detailing critical dimensions and tolerances.
-
3
Performance Requirements
Any specific load, temperature, chemical exposure, or electrical requirements.
-
4
Scope
Total quantity, potential repeat demand, and target lead time or project milestones.
Quality Support and Post-Processing
Functional parts often require secondary operations to meet final assembly and performance standards.
Post-Processing
Functional finishing and post-processing may include blasting, sanding, polishing, vapor smoothing, dyeing, painting, or part marking. For mechanical assemblies, we also provide the installation of threaded inserts, tapping, drilling, and CNC secondary machining for critical mating surfaces.
Quality Documentation
When agreed upon for the project, our engineering and quality team can provide comprehensive support. This may include first article inspection (FAI), dimensional inspection reports, material documents, certificates of conformity, and detailed shipment reports.
